New estate agency ‘big beast’ revealed at Your Move parent group

Paul Hardy has been appointed to spearhead the estate agency team at LSL Property Services following the retirement of executive director Helen Buck.

Buck had been an Executive Director on the Board of LSL Property Services for six years and prior to that was also a Non-Executive director of LSL for five years where she was a member of both the Remuneration and Nominations Committees.

PROMOTION

Hardy has taken over the LSL estate agency reins as managing director and after announcing the promotion on business networking site LinkedIn was swamped with messages of congratulation from the likes of Strike’s Sam Mitchell, OnTheMarket’s Jason Tebb and Nutur.group Chief Executive Jon Cooke amongst the first to send well wishes.

Simon Embley (pictured), former LSL Chief Executive and Chairman and current Chief Executive of mortgage broker consolidator Pivotal Growth described the announcement as ‘a well deserved promotion’.

Hardy has had a glittering career within the LSL fold starting with Your Move Estate Agents back in February 2008 where he was Finance Director.

After a short spell as LSL Financial Services Director in Direct Distribution he moved on to Commercial Director until being promoted to Managing Director earlier this month.

A spokesperson for LSL says: “We are pleased to confirm that Paul Hardy has been appointed as Managing Director to lead our Estate Agency Division, following more than 30 years with LSL – most recently as our Commercial Director for Financial Services – and the recent retirement of Helen Buck.”
