Macaulay Thompson has been appointed by Dacre, Son & Hartley.
In his new role as lettings manager, Macaulay will cover the Skipton and Keighley areas. He has almost seven years’ previous experience at a Bingley lettings business.
Macaulay said, “I started my career in property straight from school as an apprentice and enjoy everything about the fast-paced lettings industry. I now feel it’s the right time to move to a bigger firm and take on more responsibility. There is a great opportunity for me to develop my career at Dacres and I will be covering a large patch across Keighley, Skipton and up into the Dales.
“My aim is to grow the company’s market share in the Skipton area in particular. It’s a popular town with professionals attracted by the employment opportunities in the area and good transport links; lots of people are keen to retire here too.”
Macaulay, who lives in Cross Hills, will report into Emma Kerrywood, who heads Dacre, Son & Hartley’s lettings division across the firm’s 20 offices. She says, “Macaulay is very driven and has a sound understanding of the lettings market locally – he is a welcome addition to our team. His appointment takes the total number of people working within our lettings division to 18.”
