Major London lettings agency bags first landlords in Manchester
Johns&Co, which is best known as a London newbuild property management and investment firm, has opened its first office outside the Capital with has plans to launch in other cities too.
One of London’s biggest newbuild-specific estate agency firms has launched an operation in Manchester within the city’s busy central district, saying it plans further UK expansion soon.
Ten-branch London firm Johns&Co, which has some £2 billion of newbuild assets under management 11 years after it started with a single branch in the Capital, is now keen to take a slice of Manchester’s super-competitive property management sector and already has a significant number of landlords on board.
“Our decision to open an office in Manchester is driven by the city’s strong economic performance and the outstanding investment opportunities it offers for residential property investors,” said Jon Johnson (main image), Managing Director of Johns&Co.

Key UK cities
The estate agency firm’s new branch in Manchester is to provide a full suite of sales, lettings, and management services, with a special focus on residential property investment, although the company says it has its eye on other ‘key UK cities’ which appeal to its growing international investor client base. Johns&Co has offices in both Hong Kong and Shanghai.
“This expansion not only extends our footprint in the UK beyond London, but also aligns with our mission to provide top-tier property management and sales services in key urban centres,” adds Johnson.
