A Your Move franchise holder with 13 branches in the NE of England has acquired well-established firm Hymers and Ryle Residential to ‘strengthen its lettings division’.

Hymers and Ryle Residential is based in Ryton, near Newcastle, and has a lettings book of 170 properties. The business has been run by Julie Ryle, who is now retiring, and Kerry Hymers, who will be staying on as Lettings Manager to ensure a seamless transition for both landlords and tenants.

Strong reputation

Hymers says: “With Julie’s retirement plans approaching, we carefully decided next steps for the business together. We chose Your Move due to its strong reputation and guaranteed ability to maintain the high service standards our landlords and tenants are accustomed to, with zero rent arrears reported across our portfolio.

“This acquisition means our clients will benefit from the resources of a larger group, while still receiving the same personal service as I continue on as the main point of contact with support from Your Move’s Property Management Centre.”

The Ryton office (pictured) will close and, as there are no additional staff, Kerry Hymers will be moving to Your MoveChris Stonock’s  office in Low Fell.
