In a bid to strengthen its ties within the community, Knight Frank has established a three-year partnership with Sported, a UK-wide charity promoting fairness and equity for young people through grassroots sport and physical activity.

The upmarket estate agency group is now integrating social impact into its core business strategy with the aim of driving meaningful change not just for clients but for communities and society at large, says Sarah Beattie, Global Head of Corporate ESG Strategy at Knight Frank (pictured).

Transformative

The charity represents the UK’s largest network of community groups, transforming the lives of around a million young people each year. Sported is the first official partner of Limitless, a programme that empowers Knight Frank employees to use their expertise and time to drive positive change in local communities.

Set up as a legacy charity of London 2012, Sported ensures communities have access to sport and offers support to volunteers who run initiatives helping young people to succeed. This marks the charity’s first corporate partnership within the real estate sector.

Community sports groups are an absolute lifeline for so many people.”

Beattie says: “Sported is the first of what we envision to become a growing network of social impact partnerships. We are deeply committed to the communities we serve, actively engaging with their needs and addressing local challenges.”

Sarah Kaye, CEO of Sported, added: “Community sports groups are an absolute lifeline for so many people, especially in deprived and marginalised communities. Partnerships like this one with Knight Frank are key to ensuring the life-changing benefits of sport remain accessible to everyone.”
