Self-employed broker estate agency Moveli has revealed extraordinary growth, nearly doubling the number of brokers working for its platform during 2024.

The company now has 50-plus estate agents on board with the majority in London and the rest covering areas outside the capital including Winchester, Bath, several parts of Surrey, Devon and the South West.

Moveli positions itself as an ‘upper-market’ or premium broker platform, and attributes its growth to overall trend within the property industry which has seen vendors embracing this model.

The number of transactions handled by platforms such as Moveli rise by 23% year-on-year, according to research firm TwentyEA.

Moveli reports revenues up by 32% during 2024 compared to the year before and co-founder Ben Littlewood this is set to improve this year and beyond as the broker model gain traction’. He founded Movlie with brother Chris in 2017.

Upper market

“Moveli prides itself as being one of the biggest ‘upper-market brokerages’ in the UK and our sales trajectory seems to reflect this, with the number of sales in 2024 above £2m increasing by 21%,” says Ben.

“Average fees are also up on average 5.5%. Something Moveli’s MD James Giblin says is ‘testament to the improved service the brand is delivers.

“It’s great to see Moveli’s success, cementing the brand as the ‘upper market brokerage’ in the UK. We have some very exciting plans for 2025, and expect our strong growth to continue as we invest more into the network.”

Moveli has seen several high-profile figures within the industry join its ranks, including last year those from both Knight Frank and EXP UK.

In August last year it said the platform aimed to soon have 200+ agents on board, leading many wonder to ponder whether the US-style ‘broker’ approach to selling homes is finally catching on in the UK.
