EXP UK has announced that Benjamin Stevens Estate Agents has joined its self-employed platform, with the North West London agency transferring its residential sales and commercial operations onto its Team model on 5th January.

The platform allows agencies to retain their brand and leadership structure, but provides support through its shared technology, compliance and back-office services.

By joining EXP UK, the business gains access to scale, technology and international reach without sacrificing the autonomy, culture or values that have driven its success.”

Benjamin Stevens opened its first office in Edgware in 2004 before expanding into Bushey and the surrounding areas. Alongside its core sales operation, the business also has a block management division and a partner agent hub model covering London, Greater London and neighbouring regions. Its founder, Steven Wayne (pictured), sits on the National Advisory Council for the Guild of Property Professionals.

Commenting, Adam Day, Head of EXP UK and Europe, says: “Benjamin Stevens is exactly the type of established business our Team model has been built for. This move is about accelerating an existing, successful operation rather than starting again from scratch.”

He added: “By joining EXP UK, the business gains access to scale, technology and international reach without sacrificing the autonomy, culture or values that have driven its success.”

Benjamin Stevens is my life’s work, and I wanted a solution that strengthened what we already have, rather than trying to reinvent everything on our own.”

Wayne says: “Benjamin Stevens is my life’s work, and I wanted a solution that strengthened what we already have, rather than trying to reinvent everything on our own.”

He adds: “We have been around for a long time in a traditional format, but in 2019, I recognised that estate agency could be done differently. and we began developing our own self-employed model. With EXP UK launching shortly after and doing a strong job in driving that model, joining forces was the right next step.

“EXP gives us access to industry-leading technology, training and support, while allowing us to remain in control of our brand and how we operate day to day. For me, it’s about long-term security and opportunity for the business, our agents and our clients.”
