Estate agency hails TikTok stars’ Christmas fundraising efforts

Agency owner Des Simmons says his two nephews' amazing singing talents and 'warm hearts' have moved him to urge other to support their efforts.

An estate agent has hailed two members of his family who have become TikTok stars for both their powerful rendition of a Xmas classic carol and their efforts raising funds for the homeless across the UK.

Des Simmons, MD of Bournecoast

Des Simmons, who runs Bournemouth estate agency Bournecoast, has said he could not be prouder of his two nephews Sam and Tobias Strongman (main image), known on TikTok as the Strongman Brothers.

Praised on the social media platform for their powerful renditions of ‘O Holy Night’ and other classical pieces, the duo are currently travelling the UK on a Christmas busking tour using their growing platform to support homeless communities along the way.

Both in their early 20s, they have attracted hundreds of thousands of followers for their exceptional vocal talent.

But Simmons says that behind the music lies a deep compassion that has shaped the purpose of their tour.

As they busk in cities across the country, the pair are handing out goodie bags to homeless individuals and purchasing hot meals and drinks for those they meet.

Earlier this week in Liverpool, they distributed hot jacket potatoes to people sleeping rough in the city centre which is just one example of their commitment to helping those facing cold winter nights.

“As someone who works in property, I see first-hand how serious the homelessness crisis is,” says Simmonds.

“I could not be prouder of Sam and Tobias. Their hearts are as big as their voices, and they’re using their music to spread joy and compassion at a time of year when it’s needed the most.”

He adds that the brothers were inspired to take action after regularly encountering homeless individuals while busking.

Warm beds

“They told me, ‘We get to go home to warm beds after singing, but these people are left out in the cold.’ That awareness and empathy is what sparked this mission.”

During the run up to Xmas, Sam and Tobias are performing across the North of England, before travelling down to London and the South of England next week.

Anyone wishing to see them live, or support their homelessness initiative, can find their tour dates and locations listed on their TikTok accounts (@sam_strongman and @tobias_strongman).
