Independent estate agency grows portfolio to 950 properties

Westcoast Properties announces it has purchased a 'substantial' lettings portfolio to become the largest operator on its patch.

A growing estate agency in the SW has acquired a significant lettings portfolio from local firm Hunter Leahy.

The purchase brings Westcoast Properties’ lettings book to a total of 950 properties, securing its position as the largest rental agent in Nailsea and one of the leading rental and management agencies in North Somerset.

As part of this acquisition, it is also welcoming two experienced staff members from Hunter Leahy, Leila Burleton and Petra Brace, will continue to work closely with landlords, maintaining continuity.

The estate agency is independently owned and has been serving the Nailsea, North Somerset & Bristol markets for 24 years and has five branches including in North Bristol and Burnham-on-Sea. It specialises in residential sales, lettings, property management, block management and student accommodation. In 2020 the firm was the subject of a management buyout.
