Independent estate agent joins industry’s elite list
Paul Keighley of Bramleys has been granted Fellowship of NAEA Propertymark after nearly 40 years of service to the profession.

A long-serving estate agent who has trained many younger colleagues during his career, has been granted the industry’s top honour.
Paul Keighley from Bramleys in West Yorkshire (main picture) has been recognised with a prestigious Fellowship of the National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA) to mark almost 40 years of dedicated service, the HuddersfieldHub reports.
Pinnacle
Fellowship grade is considered the pinnacle of membership with NAEA Propertymark, and most fellows have 20-plus years of consecutive membership or five years’ experience in the industry and have passed a Level 4 Qualification. There are around 1,350 Fellow members.
Born and raised in Huddersfield, Keighley’s career in estate agency began in the early 1980s.
Driving Force
After joining Bramleys in 1993, he became a Partner five years later, and has been the “driving force for growing our successful residential sales and lettings departments over the past 30 years,” the firm says.
He oversees the residential offices across Kirklees, Calderdale and The Spen Valley, and has responsibility for all aspects of residential sales and valuations, whilst specialising in new homes sales and valuations alongside land disposal.
“Being responsible for maintaining our high level of service and reputation, Paul still enjoys the face to face contact with clients, and regularly undertakes home visits to provide advice,” Bramleys says.
Championed
Keighley says: “To be awarded this Fellowship is an incredible honour and I’m deeply thankful for the recognition. It’s been a privilege to serve both my clients and the estate agency community over the years.”
Throughout his career he’s championed professional development, mentoring the next generation of estate agents, and promoting best practice across the industry through his work with the NAEA.
I’m particularly proud of the part I’ve played in developing future valuers and industry leaders.”
“I’m particularly proud of the part I’ve played in developing future valuers and industry leaders and look forward to continuing to support the next generation and help shape the future of our profession,” he says.
