Major estate agency group acquires sixth London independent
Lomond's London KFH has expanded following its purchase of established three-branch independent Eddisonwhite.

Lomond has announced the acquisition of Colliers Wood-based Eddisonwhite Ltd – its sixth London purchase of 2025 as one of the UK’s larger lettings and estate agency group continues its acquisitive streak in the Capital.
The deal sees the three-branch agency, which also operates in Wimbledon and Morden, folded into Kinleigh Folkard & Hayward, Lomond’s flagship London brand, which already runs over 60 branches with a significant stronghold in South London.
Founded 21 years ago by Richard Eddison, the independent estate agency has built strong roots in the local community, sponsoring street planting, Little League football and Merton Dogwatch amongst other initiatives.

The sale was brokered by Adam J Walker and Associates. Commenting on the sale Adam Walker tells The Neg: “Eddison White is a very successful and long-established business but it will be folded in to Kinleigh Folkard and Hayward.
“The economies of scale that are achieved from doing this will make the combined businesses much more profitable which is why the consolidation of the lettings industry is progressing so quickly.”
Organic growth
Eddison attributes its success to identifying an opportunity to provide a client-first approach in one of London’s leafiest residential corners, and the business has since grown organically across all three of its locations.
The deal follows Lomond’s purchases of Chase Evans, Kinleigh Folkard & Hayward, Hamnett & Ganpot, Vantage and Draker in London since September 2024.
John Ennis (main image), Chief Revenue Officer at Lomond, says: “We are excited to welcome on board the clients, customers and staff of Eddisonwhite who have operated for many years in South West London, right in the heartland of KFH. They are a natural fit for the brand, emphasising the same personal service and local knowledge for which KFH is best known.”
The time has come to hand the reins to an organisation that is equipped to help steer and support our clients through the changing property landscape.”
Eddison says: “After many years dedicating myself to the local community as a proud independent agent, the time has come to hand the reins to an organisation that is equipped to help steer and support our clients through the changing property landscape.
“After experiencing the core values and ethos of KFH first-hand early in my own career, there’s no doubt in my mind that it’s the perfect fit for Eddisonwhite‘s next step.”
