Ousted Tory MP’s office to become estate agency branch!
Ex-Conservative MP for Stroud Siobhan Baillie’s constituency office has been taken over by Murrays Sales and Lettings Agency.

The former constituency office of Conservative MP Siobhan Baillie has been leased by estate agency Murrays Sales and Lettings Agency which from 2nd of December will become its new head office.
Baillie had been MP for Stroud (Cotswolds) since 2019 but was ousted at the last election by new Labour MP Dr Simon Opher whose office is just a short walk away in Lansdown Road.
The new tenant, Murrays, is a family-run sales and lettings agency that was established in 1993. It is co-directed by brothers, Richard and James and has offices in Stroud, Painswick and Minchinhampton.
Prestigious new premises
Estate agency director Richard Murray says that after 30 years in their old head office, the opportunity to move into prestigious new premises at No.3, King Street was too good to resist and brought them right into the heart of Stroud.
Murray adds that the reaction from the public to the move has been ‘very positive’ and, unlike Baillie, since the election, business has been good as things have now ‘settled down’.
Baillie moved on

He is not sure where Baillie is now, as she vacated the premises some months earlier but on Instagram she wrote: “I have promised my family to have a break from politics.” She added that she had also recently moved out of an even more famous premises – the Palaces of Westminster.
Murrays Sales and Lettings will be moving into King Street on 2nd December. The official launch, though, will not take place until sometime in the New Year, but the doors will be open for Stroud’s Goodwill Evening on 6th December.
