Property consultancy launches new acquisitions arm to boost agency growth
Realise is being led by former LRG and Spicerhaart acquisitions expert Joel Osbourne, who promises a 'new approach' to mergers.

Property sector consultancy 2point0 Group has launched a new division focused on business sales, mergers and acquisitions, led by industry veteran Joel Osbourne.
He brings 25-years of mergers and acquisition experience at LRG and Spicerhaart to the new brand called Realise, alongside original co-founders Nicola and Paul Broomham.
Realise will support estate and letting agency owners on both sides of the table – those selling their businesses and those looking to acquire or merge.
Demand is there for a specialist in this sector, one who will treat the sale of what is often somebody’s life’s work with the respect it deserves.”
Between them, Joel and Paul have successfully handled more than 50 business sales, mergers and acquisitions, from boutique lettings operations to large, multi-million-pound corporate buy-outs.
Osbourne (pictured) says: “I have been in the property industry since 1999 and have known Paul and Nicola for all this time.
“After a long career spent both in front-line agency as well as in M&A on a national level, I am genuinely thrilled and excited to bring all that experience together in this new venture alongside Paul and Nicola.
“The property sector needs something new when it comes to business sales, mergers and acquisitions – a partner who listens and reacts, and always moves forward with the client’s best interests in mind. That is what Realise is here to fulfil, and we can’t wait to get going.”
Full estate agency service
The new launch means that 2point0 Group will offer business advice and consultancy, recruitment, and now sales, mergers & acquisitions all under one roof.
Nicola Broomham, co-founder of 2point0 Group alongside husband Paul, adds: “We’ve built 2point0 Group on the idea that the property business lifecycle deserves more humanity, not less.
“From the enquiries we have received since launching in January, we know the demand is there for a specialist in this sector, one who will treat the sale of what is often somebody’s life’s work with the respect it deserves, not as just another transaction to tick off the list. A specialist who will be discreet about the details, not only during the process, but afterwards too.
“We are the keepers of secrets, and we always have been. When it comes to selling something you have poured your heart and soul into, knowing that you not only have someone there who is on your side, but also a team that understands how to sell these businesses successfully and, where appropriate, work with owners on a longer-term plan to maximise value ahead of going to market.”
