Viewber boss to drive pickup truck to war-torn Ukraine
Ed Mead and a friend will be delivering vital aid and a pickup truck to Lviv as part of part of the ‘Pickups for Peace’ initiative.

Viewings outsource firm boss Ed Mead (right of picture) alongside commercial property investor Oliver Lambert (left) will be driving a pickup to Ukraine in February crammed full of much needed supplies for the country’s long-suffering people.
It is part of the Pickups for Peace (P4P) initiative, which has delivered over 500 4WD vehicles, ambulances and quad bikes to Ukraine, all loaded with aid to support those most in need.
The aid includes items such as medical equipment, generators, clothing, food, hand tools, spare tires, and motor oil.
I was looking for a way to help”.
Mead tells The Neg; “I felt guilty about not taking in a refugee at the start of the war, but friends did and I was looking for a way to help.
“Then I heard about P4P and it seemed like a really clever initiative and a very good way of putting something back.”
Tough winter
“And with Russia attacking Ukraine’s power grid, it seems very timely, too, as it is going to be a tough winter for the Ukrainians.”
Mead is now busy trying to raise his target figure of £12.5k – which includes the vehicle purchase and £5k for equipment – but says that there is no ceiling, as other vehicles in his convoy can take things if he runs out of space.
He will start his drive to Lviv sometime in February but is not allowed to give an exact date for safety reasons.
Before then, he needs the help of his fellow property professionals to raise the required money, so if you would like to make a donation, please click on this link.

Great effort Ed. When you get back will you be brewing your own beer and raising pigs or is the trip enough of the Didderly Squat
This is absolutely fantastic, whilst its amazing to see people do anything for charity there’s a world of difference between giving a donation to putting your heart and soul into it like this. This just takes it up a massive notch.
Amazing stuff Ed & Oliver, and I happen to know a decent bar in Lviv !
