A Winkworth branch in London is bringing some welcome festive cheer to the local community this Christmas as part of a series of initiatives to support and spotlight independent businesses and get families involved in the neighbourhood.

In a relationship that first began after she brought her property through them, the estate agency’s Tooting office has partnered with local illustrator Charly (main image), known as  ‘Outlined by Earnshaw’, to transform their façade with beautiful hand-painted Christmas window art and a Xmas card.

Her illustration has now also been turned into a colouring-in sketch, which Winkworth Tooting is planning on distributing to children in the local area for a colouring-in competition.

Instagram giveaways

As part of its Christmas promotion, the estate agency has also teamed up with four independent local businesses to run weekly Instagram giveaways throughout the December festive period.

Winkworth says each promotion will showcase a different business owner, highlighting all of their products and their stories while also offering local residents the chance to win a festive prize.
