A business duo have bought their second Winkworth franchise in West London after buying their first three years ago.

Rupal and Ravi Patel (main image) bought Winkworth’s Shepherd’s Bush branch in 2022 from Carl Burgess but have now bought his and Ben Hunt’s Hammersmith branch. Both acquisitions are for an undisclosed sum.

Rupal is the one with property industry experience as he weas already a director of a prime residential estate agency in Mayfair before his involvement with Winkworth, and has over 20 years’ experience in property including stints with Savills, Goldschmidt & Howland and Ellis & Co. His business partner Ravi comes from the IT industry.

Top performing

The pair appear to have a deft touch and Winkworth’s HQ says that during the first three months of this year their Sheperd’s Bush office was the top performing agency in the area for sales and lettings.

“We are delighted to have extended our presence in the area and it is a natural progression to have both offices,” says Rupal.

“This has been one of the busiest starts to the year for some time. We are seeing needs-based clients now making the move. This includes downsizers, some of whom are staying in the area and moving to a smaller property, while others are selling up, opting for a pied a terre and moving to the Cotswolds and other destinations easily reached from West London.
