Connells claims its new homes division is most successful in UK
Company also reveals 14 new members of staff at the division, which sold 9,000 new homes last year across the UK.
Connells has beefed up its New Homes division significantly with 14 new staff and revealed that it sold 9,000 units last year, giving it an approximate market share of 5%.
The company also claims that its 40-year-old new homes division, which has 110 staff, is the most successful within the UK property market.
“This investment in new team members across Connells Group comes on the back of strong new homes performances [during] the last two years,” says its Group Land Director Roger Barrett (left).
“We sold approximately 9,000 new homes in both 2017 and 2018, many of which have resulted from our increased influence in sourcing and selling development land to and for our developer clients.
“This comes despite more difficult trading conditions during 2018 [and] shows our strength in this sector and supports our continued investment in this most important part of our business.”
The new arrivals include its most senior appointment – John Caldwell Smith as Connells new Land Director as well as Richard Saunders at Allen & Harris, Jess King and Jack Burchell at Barnard Marcus, Helen Boyd at Brown & Merry and also Hannah Gill, Hazel Stuart, David Lloyd-Jones and Lucy Bryant, all at Connells.
Others include Abigail Wright at Fox & Sons, Luke Dennis at Shipways and Emma Richman, Tim Meeks and Barnaby Scarff at William H Brown.
