Locks are down! Mead raises £1,795 for NHS charities
Senior industry figure has beaten his target raise of £500 after his daughter shaved his head for charity.

Ed Mead has raised nearly £1,800 for NHS charities after having his signature raffish locks lopped off by a buzz-cut wielding member of his family.
“While enjoying the virtual MotoGP I’ve decided that rather than letting my family get their hands on my barnet I’m going to have a No.2 haircut on Friday,” he says.
“I’ve often said try anything once and it’s nearly killed me a couple of times, but this is another genuine first.”
Ed is asking The Negotiator readers to sponsor his latest close shave, which is to take place this Friday and will see Ed sporting a No.2 buzzcut.
In return for a donation, sponsors will get to see Ed’s before and after pictures and help him raise £500 for NHS Charities Together.
It is the umbrella organisation for some 250 different charities that collectively raise hundreds of millions every year for the NHS, its staff and volunteers, and which is current undertaking a major Covid-19 appeal.
