TV presenter Kerr Drummond, the face of Channel 4’s daytime property show Coast vs Country, has joined estate agency Hortons as a partner to launch the agency in Warwickshire.

As well as a stint presenting Kitchen SOS, Drummond now has more than 100 episodes of property-related television under his belt and is also an interior designer.

He will focus on residential sales across Leamington Spa, Warwick and Rugby for Hortons and already has a number of listings coming to the market.

“I’m very excited to be joining Hortons and to be launching the agency in my home county of Warwickshire,” he says.

“Hortons is a modern, service-driven estate agency that believes in utilising the latest tech and marketing tools to achieve the best possible sale price for our customers. I feel like I’m joining the company at a very exciting time.”

This is the latest in a string of key appointments for the estate agency following a private equity cash injection 18 months ago.

The firm has launched an aggressive expansion programme across the East and West Midlands, and recently secured a new base for its HQ in Leicester as it aims to become a national firm.

Since opening in 2013, Hortons now covers Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Rutland and Northamptonshire, providing clients with their own personal estate agent.

Hortons CEO Adam Horton says “We’re delighted to have Kerr join our team. His wealth of experience in the property sector, his eye for design, marketing and his presenting background will add massive value for our vendors.”
