Upmarket estate agency Fine & Country has promoted one of its star players to the role of MD of Global Growth.

Daniel Harrington (main pic), who joined the agency seven years ago and is credited with personally increasing the firm’s growing list of UK licence holders, initially joined in 2015 as a Regional Business Development Manager after a three-year stint at independent estate agency Beresfords in Essex.

Harrington was then promoted in 2018 by Fine & Country to be its national Business Development Manager, and then focussing on London and the international market, later becoming Head of Growth.

“I have had the opportunity to be a part of the brand’s rapid expansion within the UK, however, I now want to use my expertise and knowledge to replicate that success within other regions over the world,” he says.

Fine & Country already has an international presence with agents across several European countries, as well as regions such as Thailand, Australia, and South Africa.

“Our plans for 2023 are to focus on growing the brand significantly in countries where we already have a presence, while targeting 10 new countries that meet our network’s strategic demands and have bourgeoning prime property markets.”

Harrington will be assisted in his endeavours by Ashley Harwood, who has joined the team as an internal move after seven years with the company, alongside existing International team members Nikki Wilson and Gaven Swan.

Harrington will be working alongside Nicky Stevenson, the estate agency’s UK managing director.
