Fine & Country has opened a new office in Malta. Fine & Country Malta, covering the whole island, concentrating mainly on the North-East.

Fine & Country’s new office has been established by Directors, Joseph Sullivan, Sandro Pace Bonello and Andrew DeBono.

The core brand is SQL Real Estate. The office will have five staff on lettings and eight on sales, as well as three support staff. Malta has a population of 400,000 in 150,000 households. Malta offers a wide range of properties from sea-front apartments, to villas and palazzos. Malta has enjoyed a sudden influx of foreigners relocating to Malta mainly from the online gaming industry and financial services due to considerable tax advantages, which has led to an 70 per cent increase in the cost of rentals in the North Harbour area in the past three years. The north-east of the island is experiencing rapid development, with at least eight new high-rise developments on the drawing board and four new 5 or 6 star hotels.
