Ulva Island, one of the UK’s most significant and impressive private islands, is on the market for the first time in 70 years, inviting offers in excess of £4,250,000, through Knight Frank.

Ulva Island is the second largest island of the Inner Hebrides of Scotland, approximately 7.5 miles in length and 2.5 miles in width (4,583 acres). The nearby Isle of Mull is very well connected to the mainland with regular ferry services to Oban.

The island offers Ulva House, (Grade B listed), a church, restaurant and tea room and eight other residential properties including traditional bothies, a former Manse, a Sporting Lodge, farm buildings to support the agricultural and livestock operation and significant sporting opportunities.

Major General Lachlan MacQuarrie, the fifth and last Governor of New South Wales, known as ‘Father of Australia’, was born on Ulva in 1810.
