A tiny studio flat in Brighton is being marketed for £160,000 and advertised as being close to schools, although there is no space for children.

Cupboard flat

A ‘large cupboard’ flat on sale near Brighton seafront has attracted some humorous comments.

The studio flat is in a Regency building, and is being offered at £160,000, £10,000 down from the original listing.

The description on Zoopla, posted by agency Brand Vaughan, says it is “just seconds from the sea”. The nearest schools and their Ofsted ratings are listed.

Clever design

“It has a separate bathroom and has been cleverly designed with a mezzanine sleeping area and a modern decor so you can move straight in or let it out immediately with ease.

“This neat studio flat is situated in a popular area with lots of local shops and the beach on your doorstep,” the description continues.

It has a mezzanine sleeping area and is open plan with a kitchen and separate bathroom.

@AlGunner also said: “I don’t know why you’re complaining. It’s not just a cupboard, you’ve also got a big shelf to sleep on,” and @Desperate_Leg8749 said: “No floor plan? I find it hard to picture the layout of such a sprawling pad without one.”
