Rightmove Resistance Tour will show how AI can break estate agents free from portals
Proptech firm ModelProp is launching a 60-day roadshow that it will use to demonstrate new technology that it claims will end the portals' dominance.

ModelProp is running a nationwide tour promoting AI-based technology that will challenge portal dependency, with estate agents being invited to “take back control” of their digital future.
The proptech firm specialises in AI solutions for estate agents such as virtual staging, automated particulars writing, and AI-powered customer service tools.
Managing Director, Mal McCallion (pictured), will lead the 60-day roadshow which will take in locations across England, Scotland and Wales.
In an exclusive interview with The Negotiator, McCallion declined to reveal the details of how ModelProp would “knock Rightmove off its perch” but promised to reveal all during the roadshow.
What he does reveal, though, is that the emergence of Agentic AI – technology that can autonomously make decisions and take actions to achieve specific goals – has provided a unique opportunity for the property industry.
This is a nationwide mission to offer estate agents a clear alternative to the current status quo.”
McCallion says: “This is a nationwide mission to offer estate agents a clear alternative to the current status quo.
“AI has arrived and it’s giving a one-off, time-limited opportunity to set agents free from decades of portal control.”
He has dubbed the initiative “The Rightmove Resistance Tour” – a series of 90-minute sessions that will kick off on 26 May. The locations, he adds, have been carefully chosen so any estate agent can find a venue within a 45-minute drive from their office.
Proof
And, he promises: “We’re bringing plans, product and proof – plus, most importantly, a new kind of partnership model that puts agents back in control of their digital destiny.
“Any owner, director or manager who’s ever looked at their Rightmove invoice at the end of any month and asked themselves – how has this happened?”
The roadshow will run until the end of July, with interested agents able to book their place via https://modelprop.typeform.com/resist. The company warns, though, that ‘spaces are filling quickly.’
