Zoopla latest portal to claim title ‘agents champion’
The portal says it was the first to put agents front and centre of its marketing campaign after Rightmove unveiled its 'game-changer' agents.
Anything you can do, we can do better! Zoopla has become the latest of the giant portals to put itself forward as the ‘champion of agents’, a title both Rightmove and OTM have claimed.
Zoopla has launched an ‘agent-focused’ local marketing campaign across the North West, and makes a point of saying it was the first UK property portal to put ‘real life’ agents at the heart of a major initiative last year.
This new version of the campaign continues to “celebrate the expertise of local agents”, it says.
Just last month, Rightmove selected six ‘exceptional’ agents it said were ‘game changers’ in their local areas to front its new marketing campaign.
Zoopla names five agents for its latest campaign, which launches this week:
- Ann Durrell, Managing Director at Maddox Noel, Ancoats and Greater Manchester
- Charlotte Coleseby, Director at Hills, Eccles, Salford and Greater Manchester
- Mark Loughnane, Director of Homesure Property, Woolton and Merseyside
- Stuart Matthews, Managing Director at Miller Metcalfe, Bolton and the North West
- Tom Mooney, Managing Director at Mags Property, Liverpool
- Kate Gostelow, Sales Director at North Wall Property, Crosby (also featured in the last campaign)
Six figures
The six-figure campaign will run from July to mid-September, and the agents will appear alongside their name and branch on billboards in places such as Liverpool and Manchester.
The campaign will also feature on digital channels including Meta and Google Display, with Zoopla.
And Zoopla says it is planning to expand the campaign to other regions later this year.
