Software provider, Street.co.uk, has launched a new Partner Platform designed to help estate agents capture referral revenue that is often lost due to manual processes and busy workloads.

According to early data from its ‘Street Labs’ testing group, agents trialling the system have seen a five-fold increase in completed mortgage referrals.

The launch comes at a time when agencies continue to face tight margins, rising operational costs and fluctuating transaction numbers. While many firms look to financial services or conveyancing referrals to bolster revenue, Street.co.uk says administrative burdens frequently result in missed opportunities.

The new platform integrates referral prompts directly into an agent’s everyday workflow, surfacing suggestions at key points, such as applicant registration or during viewings, to encourage timely referrals.

Key features include contextual on-screen prompts, a two-way portal for brokers and conveyancers to receive and update leads, and a gamified dashboard enabling managers to track referral performance across their teams.

“We’ve long held the belief that for agents to reach new levels of growth, simply increasing instruction numbers isn’t enough. Agencies need to diversify their revenue streams, but they often lack the time or tools to do it effectively,” said Oyin Bambgose, VP of Sales at Street.co.uk.

“We spoke to one agent who estimated they were losing 40% of potential mortgage referrals simply because their process was manual. The Partner Platform plugs that leak. By automating the task and connecting agents seamlessly with their brokers, we aren’t just saving agents’ time; we are directly impacting their bottom line.”

Street.co.uk also confirmed that the Partner Platform will be free for estate agent clients, with suppliers such as mortgage brokers and conveyancers paying via subscription.

Launched at the same time is Client Payments, a tool enabling agents to send bundled digital payment requests for services including AML checks, EPCs and floorplans. Clients can pay instantly using Apple Pay, Google Pay or card, replacing manual transfers and speeding up collection.
