Challenger portal OneDome has bagged two high-flying financial services figures to join its board as non-executive directors.

Tim Brooke, who is a former chairman of Monzo bank and before that a senior figure at Capita, is joined on the board by Michael Yeates, another senior figure from the financial world.

Yeates is a former General Manager of Cheltenham & Gloucester Plc. He helped grow the mortgage provider from the 16th largest building society into one of the UK’s largest lenders, the most cost-efficient financial services company in Europe and the 27th most profitable organisation in the world across all industries.

Brooke and Yeates have joined a board that is chaired by Sir Nigel Knowles, the driving force behind the transformation of a small legal practice in Leeds into one of the largest legal firms in the world – DLA Piper.

The appointments coincide with the launch of OneDome’s digital homebuying platform and its flagship Homebuyer service.

This brings together all the essentials that consumers need to purchase a home, into one simple, efficient, and cost-effective offering.

OneDome has also begun rolling out its transaction management services to estate agency and housebuilder clients, offering a platform to manage property transactions with ease and generate additional income from home moving services.
