Former M&P CEO Peter Rollings joins US recruitment firm as advisor
New York firm with London office is looking to expand into the UK estate agency sector and has signed up one of its high profile players.
Peter Rollings, the former Managing Director of Foxtons and CEO of Marsh & Parsons, has joined a recruitment firm as an advisor.
Inventure Recruitment LLP has offices in New York and Chicago in the US and a recently-opened London office whose staff includes Peter’s son Charles Rollings.
The company specialises in several industries including property, which it claims to offer clients a “comprehensive search practice from leadership and executive positions, all the way down to junior level hires”.
Since exiting Marsh & Parsons in June 2016 Peter has been working as a brand ambassador for the estate agency, a role which ended last month.
He has also been looking for non-exec roles and businesses to invest in with the nearly £6 million cash pile he left M&P with.
He is also a non-exec at Irish firm Sherry FitzGerald, the agency that helped him buy and then expand Marsh & Parsons during the noughties.
“I still get bored incredibly quickly and still have a huge amount of energy,” he told The Negotiator just after leaving M&P. “The thought of getting fat and playing golf just freaks me out.”
Viewber
Rollings has invested some of his cash in Viewber, the outsourced property viewings company set up by friend and former rival Ed Mead.
“I’m excited about the scope and reach of Viewber,” says Peter.
“It offers plenty to the property industry – viewings, inspections, auction open houses, property checks to name but a few. However, I believe it has creative and game changing uses in a variety of industries and expect it to grow extremely quickly.”
