Agent comparison site helps Hunters win 1,700 instructions

GetAgent has made the claim in conjunction with the estate agency chain, which says it's the vendor information that sets GetAgent apart from other lead sources.

Agent comparison site GetAgent says it has helped estate agency giant Hunters land over 1,700 sales instructions and subsequent completions, it has been revealed.

The claim also reveals Hunters’ fall-through rate; while GetAgent helped the agency win 1,700 instructions across its 180 branches this turned into 1,000 completions or a fall-through rate of 41%, slightly higher than the national average.

The two organisations have agreed that this has helped Hunters generate extra income worth £4.4 million.
GetAgent, which has so far raised £2.5 million from investors including Channel 4, has put some 800,000 home sellers in touch with the best agents in their local area since it launched in 2015.

Its recommendations to house hunters are based on an agent’s percentage of asking price achieved, average sale time and number of properties listed within the radius of the branch.

Completions

“We’re thrilled to see the success Hunters has achieved with GetAgent and we’re looking forward to the next 1,000 completions,” says Hunters MD Rob Smith.

Colby Short, who is one of the three founders of GetAgent, adds: “We’re delighted to reach this massive milestone with Hunters. “There are so many great agents within the group and it’s been our pleasure helping them extend their reach and grow their businesses.”

Jack Bingham, Director of Hunters’ Stourbridge branch, adds: “GetAgent has consistently provided us with exceptional leads.

“The detailed information they offer about vendors sets them apart from other lead sources and significantly enhances our ability to serve our clients effectively.”

GetAgent’s relationship with other agents hasn’t always been so rosy – RE/MAX reported its website promotional material to the ASA last year because, it claimed, some of the copy was misleading. The ASA upheld the RE/MAX complaint and told GetAgent not to repeat the ‘ad’.
