Leading proptech acquires well-known tenant referencing firm

Respected tenant reference firm FCC Paragon has been acquired by tenant app company Openbrix to enhance its ‘Rent Ready’ offering.

The acquisition of tenant referencing firm FCC Paragon by Openbrix is a ‘strategic move’ that will take the proptech firm to ‘another level’ and formalise its relationship with its tenant app, tlyfe.

So says Adam Pigott (main image), CEO of OpenBrix, who adds: “We’ve been collaborating with FCC Paragon for over three years, developing deep integration with their tenant referencing and our tlyfe Rent Ready pre-qualifying references together with their rental warranties.

This feels more like the alignment of shared goals.”

FCC Paragon MD, Bryn Cole (pictured) echoed this enthusiasm, saying: “We’ve built a strong relationship with the OpenBrix team over the years, and this acquisition is a natural progression.

“Openbrix’s vision and the availability of significant resources will take FCC Paragon to another level, further expanding our already comprehensive suite of products and services. I couldn’t be happier for our staff and the future reputation of the company.”

This is both a strategic and timely move by Openbrix, whose tenant App, tlyfe, is already the UK’s largest single-source tenant platform of registered tenants and continues to grow daily, it is claimed.
