A leading sales progression company has revealed a novel way for staff to ‘get motivated’ before they start their day’s work unblocking property transactions.

ASAP, which is based in Pontefract in Wales and employs some 65 people managing sales progression on behalf of estate agents nationally including agents such as Alexander & Co and the Relocation Agent Network, says it is starting a new ‘jog before you log in’ scheme for its employees.

Its MD Richard Megson says the company has introduced the scheme after discovering via research from the IHET that staff are 52% more productive if they exercise before starting work.

Rather than leaving its sales progressors to go it alone on this front, ASAP is mandating that its employees participated in a company-wide 10-minute run before logging on.

Most of its staff work at the firm’s offices at The Barracks Business Centre in Pontefract (main image) and from today onwards the jogging sessions will be commencing from its front door from 8am onwards.

Megson says well-behaved dogs are welcome to join, and staff will be rewarded with electrolyte drinks afterwards.

Agent partners

ASAP is also encouraging its agent partners to join in with this speedy initiative and reap the benefits of a highly motivated and more energised workforce.

“Its proven that an active lifestyle contributes to a more productive workforce, so we are excited to be introducing this new initiative,” adds Megson.

“We are convinced that jogging before logging in is going to further accelerate our already speedy sales progression service.”
