Would you trust it? AI tool to assist landlord compliance

New platform aims to support landlords through complex rental reforms as the sector prepares for major changes in May.

Rent Fix Legals

A new AI-powered legal platform has been launched to help landlords remain compliant ahead of the introduction of the first phase of the Renters’ Rights Act in May, which the firm claims will cut costs and speed up paperwork.

Rent Fix Legals says its new system, RentFix.ai, will generate, review and manage tenancy agreements in line with the incoming changes, including the abolition of Section 21, the new possession grounds and updated housing standards.

The platform, which is powered by Anthropic’s Claude AI model, has been trained on more than 100,000 UK legal documents, is claimed to deliver 99.7% accuracy, and will update automatically if there are any changes in legislation or case law.

Landlords face an increasingly complex legal landscape.”

A company spokesperson told MSN News: “Landlords face an increasingly complex legal landscape following the abolition of Section 21, new possession grounds, updated Decent Homes Standards, Awaab’s Law requirements, rent increase restrictions, and more.”

They add that the system is designed to reduce the time and cost of compliance. “What used to take days or weeks—and cost hundreds of pounds per document—now happens in minutes, at a fraction of the price, with built-in safeguards and real-time updates.”

Management support

The platform can also check agreements for compliance issues, flag unlawful clauses, generate new contracts and support landlords in managing tenancies throughout their lifecycle.

The firm says: “We’re proud to give landlords the confidence to manage their properties efficiently in this new regulatory era…”

Rent Fix Legals is a UK-based proptech firm founded in 2025 by a team of property lawyers, technology specialists and AI developers.
