Big hybrid agency reveals lettings expansion with Alto sign-up
Open House, which has some 100+ agents across the UK, says it hopes to expand its estate agency via an enhance lettings offer by using the Houseful software.
One of the UK’s larger and more established hybrid estate agents has signed up its 100+ agents to use Houseful’s Alto lettings software for two years, following a trial.
Open House, which lists some 250 properties for sale on Zoopla but only 50 rental properties, says it is planning to use its capabilities to expand the agency’s lettings business in part because the software enables AI-powered property descriptions to be written.
The Warrington-based low-fee estate agency has been a Zoopla customer for ten years and unlike some of its noisier competitors, has grown organically since being established in the early noughties largely by signing up franchisees who are ‘powered by’ Open House or who trade under its name.
These agents can now use Houseful’s Alto for two years and, says Alto, will be able to see the whole of the Open House’s network of properties easily and quickly rather than having to log in and out of different accounts.
Alto will also be used to entice agents to join the Open House network as well as making the letting and managing of properties easier and more productive, it is claimed.
Trainers
Alex Morrison, MD of Open House says: “We’ve had a great experience joining Alto. Their support team has been fantastic, with nothing being too much trouble for the trainers and tech support.
“Another big benefit is the ease of creating contacts from an enquiry, rather than having to input the contact details manually each time.”
Ric Dawson, Chief Operating Officer of Software at Houseful adds: “We’re very pleased to expand our relationship with Open House by welcoming them to the Alto family. Open House has big ambitions for the next year and ensuring their agents are working as efficiently as possible with be crucial to this, with Alto playing a key part.”
