Lead generation firm Property Price Guru is undergoing a makeover following a surge in interest from agents since the platform launched last September.
The firm already provides local property price-based content to client agents which they can then use to pique the interest of vendors and landlords in specific postcodes.
REVAMPING
Founder and former estate agent Jacob Deacon says the last five months have been phenomenal and is now revamping the Property Price Guru website and adding a host of extra features.
Deacon told The Neg: “Since September we’ve had an influx of agents that have signed up to the service and due to the increased demand we’re currently in the process of revamping the website. In a way the new site will almost turn into a portal in its own right.”
New features on Property Price Guru will include giving agents their own page which will carry their own live listings as well as live reviews carried across from Google.
FREE
Deacon says: “Agents will have their own page to highlight their stock which will help to generate viewing requests and this will be free of charge.
“Obviously given the current economic climate one of the first things that small businesses start to think about cutting is their marketing activity.
This is a great opportunity for any agents worrying about marketing costs.”

When the new site is finally launched Deacon says that there will also be additional yet to be decided extras that will come at a small cost. Although not confirmed this could be along the lines of paying a small fee to ensure that an agents’ page always comes top of search results, for example.
Deacon adds: “We’ve not fully decided on what extras will be made available and it’s still a work in progress at this stage but any added benefits will be low – maybe £25 per month so from a business point of view it’s a low investment.”
