New app revealed that lets tenants and buyers to rate properties

Property Score is being launched by a lettings professional to help home hunter tenants and buyers rate properties but also cut time wasting for for fellow agents.

A new web-based app designed to help buyers and tenants make a more informed decision about a property they are considering putting an offer on has been launched. It is also claims to help agents cut time wasting by viewers.

Property Score works by allowing users to rate a list of specific features. Once all the data has been inputted, the system then generates an overall score which will enable users to compare properties on their short list and help them decide which is best and whether or not they should proceed.

The app is the brainchild of Amit Batra, who has been in the estate and letting agency business since 1992, and his daughter Freya who is studying Management Science at University College London.

Overall score

The features that need scoring include the condition of each room, its appeal, the property’s layout, the quality of the neighbourhood and its energy rating. Users can also upload any other relevant information such as photos, videos and brochures so that they can all be stored in one place.

The first property is free but after that prices range from £10 per rental property and £15 per sales property at the basic level to £16 and £20 for the expert version.

Although it has already been soft-launched its official unveiling will be on Tuesday 10 September.
