Countrywide lettings chief jumps ship to Nick Dunning Associates
South African Tim Van der Schyff brings 14 years experience to his new job working across both Townends and Stirling Ackroyd.
Another Countrywide executive has jumped ship to join rival Nick Dunning Associates to run the company’s lettings portfolio across both of its brands Townends and Stirling Ackroyd.
Tim Van der Schyff has enjoyed a stellar career so far including a first job at Foxtons, two years at Savills followed by a four-year stint as Head of Lettings at John D Wood prior to joining Nick Dunning Associates.
At John D Wood he looked after 44 branches in London, Surrey and several other Home Counties and oversaw the rebrands of Fitz Gibbon and Faron Sutaria into John D Wood.
“We are pleased to have someone of Tim’s calibre on board,” says Nick Dunning (left).
“His vast experience of managing large scale lettings operations, and his achievements in growing some of the largest brands on the high street, is unrivalled.
“His expertise and knowledge of the London property market will greatly add to our already experienced senior management team, and will assist us in delivering sizeable growth.”
Stirling Ackroyd
Nick Dunning Associates has also announced that it is to triple the size of its Stirling Ackroyd business over the ‘next couple’ of years.
It has already opened a new branch in Dalston, relaunched its New Homes business, spent £500,000 on a branch refurbishment programme and acquired the 1,000-strong lettings book of 16-year-old sales and lettings firm My Home London.
It is to be absorbed into Stirling Ackroyd later this year and includes properties in Fulham, Westminster, Nine Elms, Southbank, Tower Bridge and Docklands.
