Winkworth launches ambitious ‘fully integrated’ New Homes operation

Winkworth has set up a dedicated and fully-integrated new homes operation in London with plans to roll it out across the agency’s national branch network.

The new team is to be headed by Charles Jordan (main picture) who started his career at John D Wood but more recently worked with agents Fraser & Co handling prime new developments ranging from apartments in Canary Wharf to penthouses in Mayfair.

Jordan, whose boss will be Development and Commercial Investments division Adam Stackhouse, will be based and Winkworth’s central London HQ in St James’s.

His New Homes team will offer strategic advice and support to developers, backed by a full sales service for buyers searching for a home or an investment property, from purchasing off-plan to completion.

Dominic Agace, Chief Executive, says: “The ambition is to establish a London presence across our 60 London offices, followed by regional hubs across the Winkworth network to provide nationwide coverage.

“There are huge opportunities to work with Winkworth franchisees, leveraging their strategic locations, hyper-local experience and knowledge established over 40 years, to extend Winkworth’s reach and offering in a rapidly changing residential market.”

Sales process

Jordan adds: “We look forward to working with landowners, developers and property companies to provide a first-class service throughout the sales process – as an extension of their in-house teams.”

Stackhouse says there is huge potential in London for a fully integrated operation in the new homes market, “combining the experience and track record of our Developments and Commercial Investments division, with a focused new homes sales service,” he adds.

“We are also looking to exploit our close links with international investors through our superbly connected China Desk based in our HQ in St James’s – providing a seamless service to investors and also to individuals moving to the UK for work or educational reasons.”
