Woods Acquires Palmer & Radclyffe
Woods, the South Devon estate agency group, has expanded with the acquisition of the BoveyTracey estate agency, Palmer & Radclyffe.
Palmer & Radclyffe has been trading from the same high profile premises in Bovey Tracey for the last 28 years. The acquisition follows the decision of principal, Victor Palmer, to retire. Although retired, he will still remain as a consultant to the business.
The Bovey Tracey office will trade as Woods Palmer Radclyffe. Stephen Godsland who has managed the office for the last 15 years will continue in his role, along with the existing team of dedicated staff members.
Woods Palmer Radclyffe is the eighth office of the Woods group, joining branches in Newton Abbot, Chudleigh, Kingsteignton, Paignton, St Marychurch, Chelston and Totnes, expanding its reach from the South Coast further north west into Dartmoor National Park.
Nick Wood, the eponymous Director of Woods, said, “Woods and Palmer & Radclyffe have both been long standing members of the Experts in Property network and have often successfully worked together to sell properties. Now the even closer links to our offices can only be beneficial to all our clients.”
Andy Pounsberry, fellow director of the Woods group, added, “I see great synergy between the new Bovey office and our existing offices, particularly in Chudleigh and Newton Abbot, with greater coverage and enhanced marketing for our listings.”
