Residential sales and lettings agency, Zenko Properties, has completed an office move and made two prominent hires.

Zenko Properties plans for growth

As it gears up for future growth, independent Leeds agency, Zenko Properties, has upgraded to a city centre office, three times the size of its previous branch, in addition to welcoming two new team members.

The 1,200sqft of space is on the ground floor of recently refurbished Graphical House in Leeds city centre and newly appointed Lisa Dennett and Faye Batty, who have more than 20 years’ combined experience of the city centre residential market, will join the existing team there.

Founder and Managing Director, Tobias Duczenko, commented: “Expanding into Graphical House was the logical next step, with room for 12 desks, a board room, a welcome area for clients, as well as a breakout area with a kitchen for our team, it’s ideal. There’s also the potential to take more space in the building as we grow. We are delighted to welcome Lisa and Faye to our team and are really looking forward to putting the new office through its paces.”

Partner, Jonathan Morgan, said: “Over the last few years we have seen significant rental growth in the city centre market, driven largely by the post lockdown boom, whereby two years’ worth of demand effectively bumped into one, along with a lack of stock. Some rents have grown by as much as 25%, which is unprecedented in this timescale. 2023 saw strong rental demand right up until Christmas, before cooling off, with a slowdown in enquiry numbers and then rental growth has returned to more sustainable levels in 2024.”

Tobias added: “The sales market has generally improved month on month in 2024 and we’ve recently launched a spectacular three-bedroom apartment at Simpson Fold for £575,000. Simpson’s Fold is one of the city centre’s original warehouse conversions and this apartment has been improved and refurbished by the current owners.”
