Expanding franchised hybrid-style estate agency Keller Williams has landed a recruitment coup following the appointment of former Property Academy managing director Nicky Stevenson. The agency has also revealed that it plans to open four more hubs across the UK by the end of 2019.
Before joining Peter Knight’s Property Academy Stevenson (pictured, above) worked as a letting agent at several companies including Chestertons and Davis Tate and is now to be a team leader based at Keller Williams’ expanding hub in Mayfair.
Best known for her motivational talks and for sharing the stage with well-known celebrities such as James Caan and Clive Woodward, Stevenson has spent the past two years operating her own performance consultancy advising agents on how to grow their business in a challenging market.
Keller Williams claims to be the largest estate agency in the world by number of agents working for it, but so far has been less successful in the UK where it faces stiff competition from agencies with comparable business models including Purplebricks.
Its Mayfair hub serving the London prime market is used as a business base by over 50 franchised agents, although it has similar operations in Leeds, Glasgow, outer London, central London and a recently-opened address in Weybridge, Surrey.
“Joining Keller Williams at this exciting time of their rapid expansion in the UK is an incredible opportunity,” says Stevenson. “Their training is deemed to be the best in the world and their focus on technology makes them an innovative and unique company to be a part of.”
