OnTheMarket is to begin a radio marketing blitz that it claims will see nearly half the population exposed to its radio adverts six-and-a-half times on average.
During March and April the portal is to pay for over 3,000 radio spots on some of the UK’s leading commercial radio stations including Heart FM, LBC, talkSPORT, Radio X, Kiss FM, and Absolute Radio.
The huge advertising campaign is to include the portal being mentioned during travel and traffic updates on 200 radio stations across the UK.
Its radio appearances are to coincide with exhibition stands at several industry gatherings during March and April including Propertymark’s regional conference in Glasgow, Hunters’ annual shindig in York and Propertymark’s national conference in London.
Rugby fans will also be able to spot its pitch-side stadium advertising at Murrayfield in Edinburgh on 9 March during the Scotland v Wales Six Nations rugby match.
“Our marketing strategy is working. It has played a key part in producing strong network effects. We are continuing to invest heavily to create value for our customers by generating strong growth in visits to the portal and providing increasing numbers of quality leads to our agents,” says Helen Whiteley, Commercial Director of OnTheMarket (left).
“This multi-channel activity is strengthened by the integrated co-branding and advertising which so many of our estate and letting agent customers continue to provide across the UK.”
Before this latest marketing blitz, the portal’s most recent figures released in October revealed that it had spent £12 million so far on marketing including TV and poster advertising.
