Peter took part in the Tonbridge Half Marathon, a gruelling hilly race across the Kent countryside, completing the course in 2 hours 14 minutes smashing his goal of 2 hours 30 minutes.
Peter said, “My son’s key worker at school is from Nepal and she was there when the earthquake struck in April. Her village was devastated and she lost family in the tragedy. I decided to try to help.
“I set a target of £800 – enough money to rebuild the village primary school. I know that sounds crazy, but £1,000 goes a long way in Nepal. With support from our clients, partners, competitors, friends and families I am delighted to have raised over £2,316 with donations still coming in this week. I can’t thank everyone enough!”
