Residently, a new UK rent-torent business, plans to shake up the online lettings sector. They don’t consider themselves a letting agent on the high street or online, trying to build a rental brand which is fundamentally different from the transactional nature of the estate agent model.

The firm’s CCO, Trevor Stunden, said, “I am delighted to launch Residently, set up by tech and property professionals, to provide the high level of service Londoners have come to expect from brands such as Airbnb, Deliveroo and Spotify.

This next-generation rental brand claims to be digitising the process of finding, setting up and running a home so it is as simple as ordering a taxi or a takeaway. Whilst many Proptech firms favour the landlord or tenant, Residently aims to make the process smooth and successful for all parties involved.

They have eliminated hidden lettings fees and have digitised referencing, contract signing, utility set-up and furnishing, all properties are new or newly remodelled, stylishly decorated and located in the best parts of London’s zones 1 and 2. Highspeed internet is included as standard and bills are all setup and managed through a single monthly payment.

Residently also provides services including; cleaning, laundry, floristry, storage and artwork rental.
