Stolen van reverses into Liverpool estate agency’s branch
The Neg reveals identity of unnamed estate agency after its façade was rammed by a stolen van late at night.

A stolen van has crashed into the front window of a Liverpool estate agency, with the driver fleeing shortly afterwards.
Merseyside Police responded to the incident at around 9.20pm on Wednesday, 26 November, after reports that a white Transit van had reversed into a premises on Smithdown Road in Wavertree.
Ran off

Photos from the scene posted on social media show the van embedded in the facade with its driver’s door left open.
Officers said the suspect ran off towards Liverpool city centre. No injuries were reported, but the impact caused substantial damage to the frontage.
The building is now being assessed by a structural engineer, and road closures have been put in place while the area is made safe.
Police later confirmed the Transit had been stolen and are appealing for witnesses, urging anyone with CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage to contact them as enquiries continue.
Not named
The incident was reported in the Liverpool Echo, but there was no mention of the name of the estate agency. To add to the mystery, there are around half a dozen agents on the same road.
After calling several of them and cross-matching a photo of the crime scene, The Neg has identified the business as Property Link, a lettings and management agency. When they were approached, however, the firm declined to comment.
Surprisingly, it is not an isolated incident; there have been several cases of vehicles crashing into estate agents’ facades in recent years, some of which have featured in The Neg.
