Students eating pizzaStudent life is more complex than ever and that complexity often begins with one of its biggest pressures: finding somewhere to live. Easing that stress is what UniHomes was built to do, and its 2026 partner survey shows it’s working, with letting agents rating the platform +61 on Net Promoter Score.

For today’s students, finding somewhere to live is rarely just about the property. It’s the first in a long line of decisions that includes money, bills, wellbeing and the practicalities of moving away from home. These decisions can have a major impact on how settled or how stressful the year ahead may be. Reducing that pressure is where UniHomes’ work begins.

The number behind the trust: +61

In its 2026 annual survey, UniHomes recorded a Net Promoter Score of +61 from more than 100 industry-leading letting agents across the UK, placing it among the highest-rated student accommodation advertising platforms and utility management service providers.

70% of agents rated the platform 9 or 10 out of 10.”

NPS gauges how likely customers are to recommend a business to their peers; across the industry, anything above +50 is considered excellent. UniHomes score was reinforced by that fact that 70% of agents rated the platform 9 or 10 out of 10.

What agents value, and why it matters for students

Asked what matters most, the feedback was emphatic, with enquiry generation ranked the single most important benefit by 71% of surveyed agents.

Behind that figure is a simple truth – over 2 million students go to UniHomes every year to find their university accommodation, because every property on the platform is listed with bills included. One monthly payment, with gas, electricity, water and broadband all covered. It’s the budgeting certainty students increasingly want, and it’s why they search with UniHomes. For agents, that demand converts into more enquiries, faster lets and less friction.

Across seven distinct aspects of its service, every one of UniHomes’ satisfaction scores came in above 80%. This was led by onboarding and speed of setup at 90%, account management and support at 88% and the all-inclusive utility offering UniHomes offers to students at 87%.

A platform built on relationships, not transactions

James Toogood, Head of Client Relationships at UniHomes, said: “What we’re most proud of isn’t any single figure, it’s the strength of feeling behind it. UniHomes is fundamentally built on our relationships with our partner agents, and those relationships allow us to deliver a truly stress-free experience for students.

This feedback tells us is that those partnerships are stronger today than they’ve ever been.

“We’ve spent more than ten years earning that agent trust, and what this feedback tells us is that those partnerships are stronger today than they’ve ever been. That’s the foundation we’re building on as we look to take more of the pressure out of student life, and it’s something we all work towards every single day.”

Building for a stress-free future

It’s a foundation more than a decade in the making. UniHomes now works with hundreds of letting agent partners across 60+ cities, and that reach is what will continue to underpin its next chapter.

Demand for bills-inclusive accommodation continues to grow, with agents reporting that all-inclusive packages help properties let faster and give students the budgeting certainty they increasingly expect. One decision, one monthly payment, fewer surprises. That’s what reducing stress looks like in practice and it’s the student living standard UniHomes is setting.
