Family and colleagues of a young estate are mourning his death from Covid.
Chris Cane was the Birchington branch manager of Kent sales and lettings agency Wards.
The 28-year-old father of two died November 11th after contracting Covid-19, but his family have only gone public about his passing in recent days.
He leaves behind his partner Shanice, who is due to have their third child, and two daughters Ava and Daisy, as well as his parents and three brothers.
A Just Giving page has been set up by his family to raise funds both to pay for his funeral and help support his family.
It says: “Chris was much loved, both in his professional life and amongst his circle of friends.
“Since his passing, the amount of grief people have felt is truly profound, which is a testament to the amazing person Chris was.
“Chris was a hard working family man who went from a trainee estate agent to branch manager in less than 5 years, which just goes to show his hard work and commitment to his girls.
“He was always willing to help others and nothing was too big of an ask for him, he was truly a great man. Our hearts are completely broken.”
The Just Giving page has so far raised £11,360.
Chris joined Wards in 2015 as a trainee sales advisor and was promoted eight times before achieving branch manager in January last year.
Before that he worked at Sainsbury’s as team leader and departmental manager before joining the property industry.
