London high flyer bags senior role at Dacre’s new branch in York
Nick Udovicic has been appointed Head of Department at Dacre, Son & Hartley's new branch in York after along stint working in the Capital.

A London estate agency high flier with stints at Savills and Chestertons under his belt has moved north to head up fast-expanding Dacre, Son & Hartley’s new branch within York.
Nick Udovicic (main picture) who has a 27-year property career under his belt, headed up Savills’ Brook Green office and was a sales manager at Chestertons Wandsworth branch before moving.
Udovicic says he escaped the big smoke last year to the village of Huby in Yorkshire to spend more time with his young family and be closer to his son’s relatives.
The branch he now heads up in York means Dacre, Son & Hartley now has 21 offices throughout North and West Yorkshire.
His new office will sell homes, ranging from apartments through to large country homes, across a wide area spanning York city centre, the North Yorkshire Moors, out to the Yorkshire coast and all the city’s surrounding towns and villages including the likes of Malton, Pickering and Helmsley.
Sought after
“This is an exciting opportunity to bring one of Yorkshire’s best-known estate agency firms and 200 years of heritage to York and launch a new office in a highly sought-after area,” he says.
“The market is currently experiencing a shortage of property for sale, against a backdrop of strong market fundamentals including soaring demand from both local buyers and those heading into the area from the south, who are seeking value and space.
Patrick McCutcheon (pictured), its head of residential, says: “Nick has a wealth of experience when it comes to launching and growing successful offices in popular and fast-moving property markets and he’s a very welcome addition to our team.”
