Leading South of England agency appoints new MD and sales director
The management team at the agency has been bolstered with two appointments, including Angela Farthing as MD.
Sussex-based estate agents Mishon Mackay has made two senior appointments to its management team including a new sales chief and MD.
Angela Farthing has been promoted from finance director to acting managing director, and Chris Thew is now sales director, moving from Connells.
Farthing has worked at Mishon Mackay for over 25 years. She started as the sole accountant, before stepping into the role of finance director and managing a full team from the Hurstpierpoint office.
Thew rejoins the company having previously been branch director in 2018, and leaves the post of area director with Connells. He will head up the firm’s residential sales and admin teams in a newly-created position.
Mishon Mackay, which has a sales and lettings offer, has eight offices covering Sussex and London. Company co-founder and owner, Alex Mackay, who was previously MD, says: “I am delighted to welcome Chris back to the Mishon Mackay team, and also to congratulate Angela on her new role.
“Both Chris and Angela have in depth knowledge of both the business and the wider industry, and it will be great to watch them continue to grow the business.
“I have no doubt that the business is in the best possible hands,” he adds.
Three members of staff, including Farthing, celebrated 25 years with the company recently.
