Kerfuffle acquires proptech procurement platform
The acquisition of Unissu aims to facilitate even more connections between agents and proptech providers, says Simon Whale.

In its first deal of 2025, proptech marketplace provider, Kerfuffle, has acquired Unissu, enhancing its ability to support agents in finding the best proptech partners.
Unissu is a well-established platform that provides technology solutions for the real estate industry, with over 10,000 proptech companies around the world.
In addition to providing an independent procurement service and publishing unique Uniscore reports that profile tech providers, Unissu is also committed to sharing education content to support agents in learning more about the benefits and future of the built environment.
Eddie Holmes, CEO of Unissu, said: “Joining Kerfuffle presents a promising opportunity and it was clear when we started talking that Kerfuffle and Unissu were a perfect match, given our combined deep focus and specialism in this valuable and growing niche.”
Facilitating connections
Simon Whale, CEO of Kerfuffle, added: “With so many options, agents can sometimes face a dilemma in choosing the right suppliers to work with, a classic paradox of choice.
“That’s where resources like Unissu and Kerfuffle were always aligned and why it was such an obvious move, helping to facilitate the connections needed between agents and proptech providers. This benefits everyone, especially the home-moving public, who now expect the same tech-enabled customer service they see in other industries.
“One standout feature for me is the significant investment in their events platform, which at its peak brought together over 3,500 property professionals in a single day, with insights you simply don’t see on other platforms. That level of engagement can only help Kerfuffle and our supplier partners gain greater visibility.”
