Let’s get married! Estate agent to ‘find husband’ on TV reality show

Portsmouth agent Danielle Kelly, who has a 15-year track record within industry, is one of 30 contestants on Love is Blind TV show.

The new series of Netflix reality TV dating show Love is Blind features an estate agent, it has been revealed.

Based on the US show of the same name, the first UK series aired last year but a new show has now been revealed airing during August, with the first four episodes dropping on August 13th.

It features 30 men and women who pair up without seeing each other, move in together and then later get engaged and, potentially, even marry. – although not all do.

While Netflix is keen to push the careers of the contestants including a DJ, professional dancer and app developer, one of the contestants hails from the property industry.

She is 33-year-old estate agent Danielle Kelly from Portsmouth who runs her own business and confesses to ‘heartbreak’ in the past, the programme’s promotional blurb reveals.

“Danielle is looking for someone more low-key, who’s reserved and hardworking but most of all, finding a partner with ambition is extremely important,” it says.

Countrywide

Kelly has enjoyed a 15-year career in sales and lettings including a long stint at Countrywide where she rose to regional director before she became self-employed via her own firm DKS Properties, currently working via the ROKS broker platform since February 2022.

Her social media profiles, which says the business is doing well, include her LinkedIn page which says: “Having single handedly set up the lettings department, we have grown a profitable portfolio of properties, winning awards in our first year of business for Top Lettings Agent in Portsmouth.

“We continue to grow our sales department also and build business connections, including a free local business networking group generating numerous cross sales, as well as sponsoring many local charities and being very much part of the community.”
